EM4 is seeking a talented and committed Operations Manager/Director to join our team to lead the production of new and existing products. The Operations Manager / Director will provide leadership to all aspects of manufacturing including production, supply chain and manufacturing engineering to ensure on-time delivery of products and services meeting or exceeding performance, quality and cost targets.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow a high performance operations team.
Manage and grow inspection/audit capability to ensure that EM4’s products meet a goal of continual product and process improvements.
Maintain and continuously improve stable, high yield, high volume processes
Analyze tradeoffs between ramp, costs, yield and technical engineering issues
Make timely decisions as to where to focus resources, material and time
Ramp production, reduce costs and meet Recruit, train and retain the required talents for the workforce
Provide hands-on skills at the shop-floor level
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Skills Required
Excellent managerial skills to manage and grow a diverse and talented workforce
Excellent knowledge of hybrid microelectronic packaging technologies
Close familiarity with MIL-STD, ISO-9000 and AS9100 requirements
Ability to work independently and creatively, improvising as necessary
Good knowledge of optoelectronics, fiber optics and related areas will be a great asset
Working knowledge of necessary optics and electronics
Good knowledge of hybrid microelectronic assembly equipment
Ability to run the relevant processes is required. Those processes that the candidate is not familiar with should be learned
Familiarity with vendors and service suppliers
Education and Experience
>8 years relevant work experience
At least BSEE or equivalent
Citizenship
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
